I have visited Peru each year for the past 15 years and often use Cevitur, based in Arequipa, to book my travels to Cusco, Puno and the Colca canyon areas. The service has been excellent from a friendly staff. I can recommend this travel agency to other tourists visiting these areas of Peru.

I came to Peru by myself and wanted to get the most out of my trip, so I emailed Rulian who I had met in Alaska a year prior and he was very hospitable. He welcomed me to Arequipa his city and made me feel like I was part of the family. We went rafting with very professional but still fun guides, jumped off some rocks and hit some crazy rapids. Rulian took me around the city and visited the Santa Catalina monastery and he set me up on a trip to Colca Canyon. I had a wonderful time in Arequipa!! Thank you!!

I have been lucky enough to visit Peru twice in the last 3 years. On both occasions I have chosen to book my tours through Cevitur. I was originally recommended Cevitur through a friend and was very keen to see the tours that they offered. On my first trip to Peru I travelled throughout Peru and visited; Ica, Arequipa, Puno, Cusco and of course Machupicchu. Cevitur had the facilities to book tours in all the cities for me. This therefore meant that I had very little to organise in relation to the tours. They also booked my domestic flight tickets and any bus tickets I needed for my month in Peru.
Here are some of my highlights:
Ica: I chose to take the Isle of Ballastas/ Paracas tour and wasn't disappointed. The wildlife on show was just fantastic and I managed to get some truly amazing pictures that will last forever. The red beach was also a massive highlight of the tour for me. It was breathtaking and something I have never seen or experienced before. All transfers and transportation were on time and to a high standard.
Arequipa: I took the city tour in Arequipa to delve deeper into the beautiful city. I now understand why they call it the White City! My personal highlight was visiting the Alapa factory where there was a live demonstration of the traditional woollen products they produce with the alpaca wool.
Puno: Lake Titicaca has to be one of the most surreal experiences I have ever had. It was amazing to see how the locals live on the islands. The locals were so welcoming and really wanted us to have a great time. On leaving the island they even sang "row row row your boat" a true highlight of my entire time in Peru.
Machupiccu: I thoroughly recommend experiencing Machupicchu to anyone. It's something that will live with me forever. All aspects of the tour were organised for me from the train to the city and the bus up to Machupicchu. I would love to go back again.
Overall the service I received was fantastic with great communication throughout. The team were always welcoming and accommodated my lack of Spanish language. The price for the tours were extremely reasonable and suits most budgets. I would not hesitate to return and book tours with the again. I highly recommend them.
